Tattoos rarely age well.

His tattoos should disappear over time, its that thing that keeps him alive his regenerative powers would eliminate them.

I heard a story about a young woman who was considering having a butterfly tattooed on her breast, but was concerned that time and gravity would turn it into a condor.

So, after several hundred years, the big fire-breathing dragon has landed…on your butt, Gary? What a letdown!
