Seriously? We’re making fun of the Shroud of Turin? But actually, if I may play the Devil’s Advocate here, the Shroud actually would NOT be the worlds first selfie. The first selfie would have actually come DURING Christ’s treacherous journey to Golgatha when He met Veronica who wiped his face with her veil. His image was left upon the cloth.
Actually, I did a cartoon of the first selfie and it was before tis one. It was Veronica’s veil which would have been like this one, but before Jesus died – while He was on the way of the cross. So, this would have been the second selfie!
