Poor Annie is just trying to make the place look nice and Chesney just has to spoil it.

Posted yesterday on the Ten Cats Friends from GoComics page on Facebook: Getting both knees replaced at the same time. One has no cartilage (bone on bone) both are full of arthritis. I hope to be able to walk without pain and use stairs again. Maybe with exercise, I can lose 40 or 50 more pounds. I have already lost 155 without exercising. Then getting a very painful carpal tunnel that keeps me from sleeping fixed. Merry Christmas to me.

A followup post:I have 24 hour pain in my hand. I can barely type. I can only hold about 1/3 cup of coffee. The shooting pain wakes me up at night. My doctor wants to hold off operating until after my knee operations. Oh, the joy, and sleepless nights. I hope he knows what he is doing.

Thanks to Beth Peterson for a very encouraging post about her double knee replacement recovery. Thankfully, I will not be doing this in my city’s death trap hospital. I will go across river to Marietta, OH.

If you’re from the USA and you are not as sick and tire of Donald Trump by now as I am, and the five letter affectionate word we sometimes use for our cats that starts with P and ends with Y doesn’t offend you, boy, do I have a lot of cat pictures for you. Not going to do it. Because Trump offends me. (And Clinton offends me more, so what am I going to do?)

OK, this might work, I was looking for a way to see the facebook pictures without having to copy and load each URL link) I’m not a facebook user), and I think I’ve found a way. If you go to this page https://www.facebook.com/Ten-Cats-Fan-Club-331800560506891/photos/?ref=page_internal and then click on the See All link at the end of the “(number) Photos were posted by other people” text, then you should get a gallery view of all the photos which you can click on to enlarge the image.

For those of you that know about my housing (or lack of) situation. Okay, gang, I need good thoughts. I didn’t sleep last night because I was sooooo excited. I had gotten a call yesterday from one of the places I had put in my application for housing. Missed the call, so called and left a message first thing this morning. I kept hoping for a call back. I had to go out for a little while and I went past her office since it is close to where I live now. She wasn’t in. I fell asleep in my chair this afternoon, but the phone never rang. I assume she didn’t make it in today. I am hoping for a call Monday morning. It would be a one bedroom, subsidized (as I need), there don’t seem to be any windows on the north side of the building so I would have sun for the “kids”, and they don’t plan on selling that building. I need everyone to think good thoughts over the weekend (going to be a long one for me) and I will let everyone know as soon as I hear from someone. Thanks
