I’m really liking posting on my phone, from bed, I’m cosy and warm and all I have to do is turn out the light, instead of getting up and climbing the stairs.

We had a series of thunderstorms roll past here on the central Oregon coast yesterday. Some of the best lighting and thunder I’ve seen since leaving the desert.

I am happy to report that past observations about my girl and thunder were accurate. Lightning and thunder don’t scare her. She notices, and was startled a couple of tomes when there were a couple of close big bangs, but for the most part, she just ignored it all.

In fact, i was making dinner for us at one point during a series of thunders and she was far more interested in what i was doing in the kitchen that the flashes and bangs.

You have no idea how happy that makes me.

One of my fathers dogs would end up I’m moms walk in closet, under something when ever a big storm came through. Im glad Sweetheart dosen’t go through that.

I have a very odd question to ask you brainy Graham crackers on the Graham clan. Can you figure out what is going on with my TV? Here’s the issue. I had a rare early shift at work on Saturday, so I was home in time for the Wisconsin/Ohio State football game. I wanted to check in from time to time to catch the score. But although the announcers were of course speaking English, for me, it was being dubbed over in Spanish. I asked people at work the next day if that happened to them and they thought I was joking. No joke! I was hearing the game in Spanish! And the same thing happened on Saturday night football last week. It was only the game itself being dubbed in Spanish – not the commercials and nothing on the other stations. I don’t have cable or sattelite – just over-the-air free TV. Who do you call to fix that? I don’t know more than a few words and phrases of Spanish. Why is this happening to me? I know I didn’t do anything weird on the remote, like change the language (I even checked to be sure), but if I had EVERYTHING would have been in Spanish, not just the game. Anyone have any ideas what’s going on?

Oh yeah, another weird thing happening only to me – One of my 3 PBS stations has had no sound for the past few days. I don’t understand that one either. Not happeningto anyone else!

Going to head out to check out that apartment, but wanted to share this……woke up a couple of times last night and Buster was just siting there watching me sleep. This went on for a couple of hours. I don’t know what he was thinking, but him just watching me sleep was a little weird. Precious was sleeping beside me and decided it was too much for her. She got up and moved to another part of the room to sleep. Buster is “different”, that’s for sure.

I realize Mr. Soames and Chesney will terrorize the pooches but THEY may end up climbing a tree, needing rescue, someone (Annie?) having to call the fire department, etc. What naughty little beggars ‘taunting’ Annie that way….I say: Taunting penalty: loss of dinner shrimp tails, plus, 3 hours each on the warehouse loading dock (yes, I am a football fan, LOL)

Apartment is nice, Has windows (west facing). Had some trouble with enough paperwork to have the “kids”. Spent time getting it together. Now waiting on background check and exact day old tenant will move out so I can start moving in. Hopefully there won’t be anymore problems with being able to have the “kids”. People can say what they want, but that is a deal breaker for me. No “kids”, no apartment! Will keep you posted. Continue the good thoughts.
