In case you all thought this old lady had died, I didn’t. Gave up comics until recently when could read them on iPad. Moved to retirement apartment last November and am still kicking. Happy birthday to my old friend NUMBER 6 !!!!

Hey, Happy Birthday, Number Six! I hope you’re at least peeking in today. (By the way, I used to have “The Village” bookmarked but it seems to have disappeared. Not sure if anybody even goes there anymore but I’d appreciate it if anybody would give me the link to it.)

Meanwhile, back at the comic strip……continuity error time! The kitchen cabinets seen in the second panel should be the same brown as in the third panel. (Then again, it seems that GoComics colorists are criticized far too often, for only doing a lousy job, so perhaps I should just forgive and forget………)

Looks like it’s going to be the usual.
