Cat knows its stuff. Nice of him to bother you before he picks a new spot…

My cats never use the kitty litter…They prefer to go outside. God bless ‘em! The only problem is that both cats manipulate me big time in other areas…One prefers to eat her kitty crunchies off of the floor rather than out of a bowl, so that’s the way I serve her..She’s my buddy, why not? Her sister likes to honor me by saving a perfectly good dead mouse, and presenting it to me as an offering….beside me in bed…..I’ve learned to appreciate that….It’s touching…..

our cat doesn’t give us much grief about the litter but he is rather bossy when it comes to his friend Jack (the ferial cat we feed). He always lets us know when Jack is outside so we can feed him. We also had to start putting him on the 4 season porch at night because he likes us to get up at 2am an play………NOT! We love our Cat.

Yeah. Found out my NEUTERED male cat was SPRAYING! Turns out, there’s a feral cat that he gets into territorial disputes with. So, never mind that I was a good girl to prevent this sort of thing, he needs to mark his territory. There’s also a male cat that started peeing all over when he was suffering a urinary blockage and was hurting like h€!!. Can’t blame him, but now I’m constantly playing “catch up”. On the plus side, they are very consideratly helping me reduce clutter… there’s only so much I will spend in time and money to save peed on STUFF, so in the trash it goes! Lol!….. BTW, I have an outdoor “kitty korral” I built with my Dad. If I get them in before the sun sets and the feral comes around, my “non-Tom Tom” seems to behave himself, too. Still, I’m not thinking I’m going to have cats 20 years from now. After these…. lap dogs! THEIR pee isn’t nuclear! ;-)

quite happy with two small dogs and then we added the cat! She bullies the dogs and runs the house. But she is a loving member of the family so what can you do but put up with her.

One flea infestation was all it took to keep our cats indoors 24-7. So I don’t mind dealing with the box on a daily basis and changing the litter once a week. BTW, using a box liner helps.

We’ve found that having Litter Robots works for us. With three cats and two robots, we can go upwards of two weeks with no litter maintenance required.

We once had a cat that peed in a box of tax receipts we were working on. Of course, you have to keep those papers “forever” but we sort of hoped for an audit.

Bunnies use litter bipoxes, only filled with hay. Our current bunny requires a fresh box each night. He’s an elegant gentlebun who is highly fastidious. We oblige him…because he’s the sweetest boy alive!

We are on their land. We get upset when the animals too large to hide try to reclaim it (deer, bear, etc.). The ones I named above are small enough to hide, and large enough to take kittycats. Less likely, but still holding their urban land, include vultures, kites, raccoons, ’possums, armadillos, skunks, cottontails, and of course rats and mice, as well as some of the larger constrictors (rat, king, coachwhip snakes), all of which I have seen at various times in my yard, over a mile within the nearest rural area.
