That would be the working hypothesis. If it works it is a theory. That could conceivably work.

    .

From yesterday. “Nouns Can Become Verbs”

Verbal nouns may be non-finite verb forms such as infinitives or gerunds in English (or Latin) usage. They may also be “pure” verbal nouns, formed from verbs, but behaving grammatically entirely like nouns rather than verbs (not taking direct objects, for example). Such cases may also be called deverbal nouns.

    .

I was speaking of the right thing, just the wrong identifier. But mistakes are just places to apply pressure if one is out to chastise instead of enlighten. I wish to enlighten and be enlightened. Not to get into fire fights.

I think he means “natural” peanut butter. You can get organic peanut butter which has stabilizers added. And you can get non-organic peanut butter which is “natural” – ie, just peanuts, so it separates.

So, how long until bigpuma says this strip is preachy because Frazz buys organic?

He could take the oil off the top and FRY his PB.

I just flip the jar upside down a day before opening it and the oil begins to migrate through.

How about using a macerator to mix your peanut butter. They’re mainly designed for mixing and moving heavy slurrys such as sewage, but there’s no reason they couldn’t do peanuts! http://redfoxenviro.com/macerators-grinder-units.html

I’ll be the humorless soul to say this will work. When we have a new jar of pb we leave it on the counter and everyone shakes it a time or two when they walk by (in kind of an exaggerated motion of the paint shaker). After a few days the pb is almost entirely mixed.

Now, would the jar could survive the “violence” of the paint shaker? Don’t know.

We just store our peanut butter upside down and it mixes well after a day or two.

I have stored PB that way for over a month at a time, and it hasn’t helped, but at least made the initial stirring easier.`

We buy the big 2 pound jars of Adams,. Just scrape it into the bowl of your standing mixer and mix. then go top speed for 30 seconds or so. Scrape into a refrigerator container. No mess and it stays mixed.

Store the PB jars upside down as soon as you buy them. After you open one, nuke it for 30 seconds to soften it. That makes it much easier to stir.

What about the lid? Most are plastic now, like the jar. Nuking that long should be followed by major cleanup if removed; a new nuclear device if left on.
