No, it isn’t. It celebrates demons, the undead, and the unholy. It is Satan’s holiday – who is God’s arch enemy.
No real Christian, who worships God, would turn his back on Him and celebrate a concept that God Hates.
It would be like a loyal American, maybe a Marine – who has swore to protect his country – even to the point of dying for it, but one day a year, he dressed up like an ISIS coward and goes and hangs out with ISIS / ISIL.
It would be UNTHINKABLE on his part to do such a thing, as it would be unthinkable for a Christian to take part in Halloween.
Switch to Canadian Thanksgiving! It happens in October when there isn’t much else going on but the weather still has a chance to be warm. Best part is, you have a chance to work up an appetite for turkey again by the time December 25 rolls around.
The only ones giving thanks this year will be the white supremacists, the one-percenters, and the fundamentalists, who suspect that Trump will be impeached and then Pence will establish the theocracy of their wet dreams.

I’m rooting for Halloween…..It’s a lot more creative, flexible and fun than all the other Christian Holy Days put together……..

Richard’s Poor Almanac is six months off, so add Independence Day to the mix.
