The end of an era. I had a couple of tube TVs still in excellent operating condition. Took them to Goodwill, and they told me they could not take them. It’s not lawful for even Goodwill to sell them. I had to take them to the recycling center.
And in my town, there is a tiny building with “TV Repair” and a phone number written on it. There is also a small car that cruises around town with the same thing on it. I have wanted to call just to find out what a TV repairman does now.

I haven’t even seen a TV repairman since the 90’s, let alone one that makes house calls.
