Some time ago, a relative gave me a small jar of jalapeno jelly. I was amazed, it was very tasty.

Spoon Jalapeno jelly on a brick of cream cheese and spread on a cracker. YUM!

Jalapenos are for sissies – interchangeable with dill pickles. Use habaneros. They’ll wake up your taste buds and put a sparkle in your eye.

I don’t know about the stuffing, but jalapeno cornbread with lots of butter is fabulous Ignore the ‘sissies’ comment above. The ‘mine is bigger than yours’ twits will always be with us.

For great jalapeno jelly, I just dice a pepper or two and thoroughly mix it into a jar of your favorite jelly or preserves. Chill until serving. Great on buttered cornbread, cream cheese on crackers, or ?

I have had that before, it is an acquired taste.
