Just to give some Canadian perspective…last time around, when Stephen Harper (Conservative) won a ‘majority’ with less than 35% of the popular vote…over 65% felt disenfranchised- but we didn’t go burn the place down or anything, we just waited for our chance to boot him out. Which we did.
I asked one of his MPs why he felt they lost. He said that people across the country told him: “Harper is mean.”
Protesting, rioting and crying because you didn’t get your own way is called a temper tantrum. What I want to say to all of these idiots is “GROW UP”! Does anyone remember the bumber sticker that came out after Obama won that said “He Won. Get Over It” with his little Obama flag "O"’s? I would say the same to the idiots.
So Trump is our president. We may be stuck with him for the next four years but we need to work hard on our local level to minimize the damage he can do and build the groundwork to make sure he is voted out in 2020. Rioting and abusing the opposition does NOT help, folks, let’s work together to keep each other safe.
Yes. This is the United States of America. Why don’t we all start remembering that UNITED part instead of looking at the country in terms of US against THEM? And if you’re thinking, “If only the other side would do that,” you need to take some time to think a little more.

I wish there was a cure for this hang-over. All the tomato juice and vodka won’t make it better.
