When humans communicate with each other, humans become too, say human. Maybe sticking with emojis is better.

Yes, indeed, the goal is less communication.

I went with a friend to help him pick up an freezer he bought on craig’s. He’s in the car and sends a text to the seller, a text comes back and the car vocalizes it!!! I asked him why he just didn’t call! He looked at me as if I were mentally challenged! INSANE!

So… drawing a comic strip is really old school.

sitting at a bus stop I watched two teenage boys interact. One was sitting with a smartphone and the other was walking; he stopped to say hello.

Neither boy made much eye contact with the other, they were too busy with their smartphones.

I think we need to either kill the smartphones before they do us in. Also, …..

    whoops wait a second got a whatsapp…..

    I’ll finish later…

@ Bruno: what you were referring to was called “newspeak”, and it was doubleplusgood.

Like the evolution from jazz to rap. Fewer notes saying less and less till you get to a single persistent sound that is worse than silence. It will be sad when words are the same and what we communicate is reflective what we can understand – nothing. Sad

I remember reading a science fiction story long ago where the aliens language consisted of the single word “Mun”, spoken with various intonations and accents.
