    Zing!

    .

I’m not in the USA nor am I American so I guess I can be forgiven for not knowing who she was ;-). Sounds like she was an excellent journalist though, a dying breed indeed.

    .

If one’s source is social media, how on earth is one going to get wind of real news from a real journalist on a real news channel. Looks like Zuckerberg , Google et al are trying to deal with fakenews on Facebook & Google’s searches.

Stop making excuses for Hillary! She herself said she didn’t have to even try to reconcile with progressives because she already had enough support to win. She was a bad candidate who spent more time trying to win over conservatives than she did her own voter base.

Gwen Ifill was a mainstay on the Public Broadcasting System’s (PBS’s) News Hour, and was a trained print and broadcast journalist for north of 35 years. She was tough, she was fair, she was HONEST, and she was funny. Her insights and questions forced both the respondent and the audience to think. This is a sad day for everyone who values the truth.

Gwen’s passing is a loss. I’m not sure I buy into the cartoon’s premise that social media is the sole purvue of the right.

Still more hatred from the left. Thanks for that! Your anger and hatred continues to invigorate the Republican party!

“Trump is no Republican”? He is now. He will be any label that gets him money and power. He hasn’t changed, but the Republican Party certainly has. For the worse.

Clay certainly used his talent to throw a guileful strip out there for the masses. It points ‘believers’ in several directions, depending on political persuasion. The obvious sequitur is the folks that voted for Trump are stupid. For not knowing who some PBS talking head?? To use her unfortunate passing for this kind of liberal demagoguery is shameful…but typical of the left today. I wonder how many of the rioters in the streets watch PBS? Or know Gwen Ifill?
