I’ve walked around Hobby Lobby several times. Couldn’t find anything I’d want in my house. Same stuff as in Goodwill eventually. Cheaper at Goodwill.
Falling when you are that age isn’t funny anymore. Its painful and debilitating and can kill. One of my mothers sisters died of one too many falls. However here it is humorous.
Sigh… another craft store masquerading as a hobby shop. I wish they’d bring back the hobby shops Red and Rover drool over — toys, trains, models…!
I agree, although as a Christian, I tend to capitalize the Chi. It is easy to distinguish real Christians from the fake: do they metaphorically bear their cross, or burn it in someone’s yard? I know the Mammon-worshiping corporate media doesn’t make that distinction – if they did, both they and the fakes would be out of business fast.

A hobby is something you do for amusement, not for money, which is ironic since I have lived much of my life from my hobbies a point Steve Allen made when made chair of some “hobby month” promotion. As a result, it is so inclusive as to be meaningless.
Ugh. Hobby Lobby?? Seriously? I love “Pickles,” but I can’t support a strip that would advertise them or show them support. Bye, Pickles & Brian Crane.

do we even want to know what Earl spilled? (if they make child harnesses with leashes, then why not harnesses with leashes for grown men like Earl?)

I see hobby lobby got “planted” in this strip. Does Crane or the syndicate get paid for that?

A hobby shop… Earl’s chance to ditch Opal.

My husband enjoys wandering around Hobby Lobby for a bit, then sits in the car and waits for me.

Don’t be so sure, Opal. Earl isn’t the only klutzy geezer in the world, you know—speaking as one myself.

I miss Hobby Lobby. Wish they’d open stores in Canada. But why does Opal always drag Earl to her yarn shops?

No employees…guess they can’t find any people acceptable for their hi moral standard. “you know all those humans and their nasty faults”

Get out of hobby lobby NOW Opal and take Earl and Nelson with you before it’s too late! Do let those religious nuts (redundant I know) get you!
