New and advanced?? BUT, my sister had one like that when she was 2 or 3 AND she will be 66 in March! EVERYTHING comes back around sooner or later! Just like the “droopy drawers”(pants worn as low on the behind as possible) which was the “fad” in the late 50s!MAYBE if someone had said that instead of complaining about it, the guys would have pulled their pants up! BUT, then again, we didn’t back in the 50s!!

Dolls that close their eyes are a 19th century invention. (c1880)

Love Petey’s comment. Is it because because they are the “must-have toy for Christmas,” or because they are dolls?

How about the magic emptying bottle— tip it and the liquid disappears! Nowadays it would be an LED display with batteries. I was buying some basic trucks for Toys for Tots: no batteries wanted: go and find some. They ALL make noise and light. Whatever happened to going “Vroom-vroom?” …and get off my lawn, you kids!

No way! You are still the cat’s meow Alice! Wouldn’t it be great if Calvin and Alice could meet? That would be crazy!

“New and advanced doll technology”?! Li’l Drowsykins?

Who do you think you’re kidding?

NARA and ALICE, you are being scammed by the doll company. That’s two-centuries-ago technology.

I’m with Petey, my hero and role-model….
