I’ve seen more fake “service” dogs…. It’s really a comment on their owners. Nice to know when I’m hiring — it’s like a “tell” in poker.

“Handicapped” stalls in restrooms are often used by people with mental handicaps … more often than you might think!

@farsideAbsolutely. Most people don’t realize how other people take advantage of a system. One of these days folks are going to realize only about 10% of veterans and disabled people really need help and the rest are scammers. I know SEVERAL who do so personally.

In order to get the Handicap/Disabled tag required by States, you MUST have the application signed by your doctor. So, for those of you who believe most people are scamming the system, I suggest you check your attitude at the door and Stop leaving nasty notes. As one who has prosthetic knees, I’m NOT going to wear shorts in the dead of winter just to prove to you, that I have a disability. Most of the time I don’t use my disabled tag, however, when a fall on ice means an automatic visit to the emergency room for x-rays (in case I cracked or broke my artificial knees) I WILL use it and you all can shut up. Someday you might find yourself in the same predicament. Merry Christmas!!!

No no and no… there are definitely people who are abusing the “service” dog thing, esp in the case of emotional support animals… I have seen it numerous times, as well… Kind of like when only medical marijuana was allowed… sure were a lot of medical issues around…
