I was planning a hike today up to a frozen lake but the weather report gives a wind chill factor of up to -4 in the higher elevations, so I will be staying in! Everyone I know is out of town, including my “boyfriend” of the last few months, so I will spend the day doing much needed chores. I cancelled Little’s appointment yesterday as she is eating after all, but only soft foods. I will reschedule in the next week or so.I hope everyone has a lovely day.
Thanks again to everybody. My left hand is wrapped up pretty good. There is very little pain. It is just awkward to type with the wrapping. I think that the operation has been a sucess. I see my doctor on Dec. 5. I found out that my knee operation is on hold for now. All in all, I have much to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving day.
a Thanksgiving post from bbear: A cute kitten post. This cute kitten is sad because he was given plenty of turkey for Thanksgiving but no gravy (the horror).
I come from a large family, too large for everybody to sit at one table. So, we kids sat at a table in the basement while the grownups ate upstairs in the formal dining room. Like this cute kitten, I vowed to sit at the grownups table when I grew up. Check it out.
A cute kitten post. This kitten is symbolic of many of us at Thanksgiving when the tryptophan kicks in and we fall asleep watching the Cowboys playing the Redskins on TV after eating too much turkey.
Happy Thanksgiving Graham Crackers!! I’m thankful for all of you my friends, my loving husband, family, good job, good health, my sweet dogs Gibbs and Niblet, my kitties Twig and Butterbean and that I am a citizen of the greatest country on the planet!! Peace to you all, don’t eat too much and help your wives with the dishes please!! ..
Bucky saw the vet for a check up today. His abscess wound is quite nasty looking, but it’s healing up okay. He goes back for another check on Monday. He and Big Man had a bit of turkey while we had our UK Thanksgiving dinner! Hope you’ve all had a fine day!

Queen says: These are the sisters I got last Saturday. Peg (peg leg) and Sis are bonded and need to be adopted together.. .
Peg is missing her back paw and her thigh bone is creepy when she moves it. Dr Dick said he wouldamputate the rest of it when they are adopted, free of charge. . .
They are VERY sweet. Tonight is the first time they’ve come down and wanted petties. It took 4 days before they would eat anything.. .Bless you for what you do for the kitties, Queen.
Fellow Crackers, I don’t generally post my medical issues, but this one is different. Tuesday while performing my morning coughing, I developed a small umbilical hernia. Painful, swollen. But within 24 hours, before my doctor’s appointment, it resolved itself! Nothing online told me this could happen! So I am thankful that I was able to take my family to have dinner with my wife’s brother’s family! Happy Thanksgiving!
(Now I put pressure on my belly button when I cough).

Like this fat orange kitty, we’ve all laid back on the couch after Thanksgiving dinner and let out our belts a loop or even two.

Is your 20 pound turkey missing? Don’t ask this fat cat, he probably doesn’t know.
