Actually, when I was a kid, I saw a guy on TV that actually took a bow and actually made music with the non-serrated edge of a saw. Sounded similar to a violin.

They’re not hard to play. I didn’t want to mess up my sister’s bow, but you can get the sound with the gentle use of a plain old hammer. I was inspired to try it after a saw performer came to my school.

Musical saws, though, are specially made: no teeth.

At least carpenters can’t be outsourced.

Yes they do play them, or Sluggo could just carry it in a case like the old gangsters used for their tommy guns.

Love it I knew a guy who played beautiful music on a saw!
