    I don’t mind it. I have no idea what the fuss is all about. It’s probably another marketing gimmick.

    Gluten is actually good for you if you are not one of the 4% that can’t eat it.

    Problem is that the wheat we have now is far higher in gluten content through genetic manipulation. It is not the same wheat we had a couple generations ago, or even in the 1940s and 1950s.

    Gluten is a food filler and gives body and texture to food, like tofu is in Japan. Nothing wrong with it for 99% of people.

    It is a real problem for the 4%, but a marketing gimmick for the rest of us. As a gimmick, it has gotten so bad, I have seen water labeled “gluten free”.
