Petey’s head is scary without the box.

So much for thinking outside the box.

I thought Petey had the word “Boo” written on a piece of paper and stuck it to himself every year. He’s done that more than once for Halloween, at least.

The “Boo” was the first Halloween costume Petey wore in the strip. The second was a box on his head (not his head IN a box), which was his scathing commentary on our consumer society (that was my favorite). Last year he was an out-of-body experience.

If Petey wears a blonde wig inside his box, he can go as Gwyneth Paltrow in “Se7en”…

This whole family cracks me up. Signed up to get Cul de Sac on email while I’m visiting an area without it. It’s the way I start every morning with a laugh.
