Buenos tardes CarMummy! I slept until 10:20, woke up once, went back to sleep while I was saying my prayers.

Hola Akenta! I would think homemade would be better. Who would want grits from Timbuktu? Barf! Dry, I kept waking up and going back to sleep. I guess that is why I slept so late and why I want to take a nap now.

not to mention 7 days old JFri’s are only hours old and always yummy. I finally got that stupid meebo bar off my screen - had to tell Adblock to never allow it. Have to admit if I didn’t have Firefox and Adblock, I would never visit this site. I’m starting to move my comic reading to other sites when I can find them. comics.com had been more reliable than it used to be and i have an option if I want to see comments or not. Other than this strip and a couple of others, I’ve been ignoring what people have to say. Seems to make comic reading go so much faster :-)

Hello all. Warm here today but cloudy with occasional sprinkles. Tonight we are supposed to get enough to cause flooding in some areas.

(((((Poor Cleo))) I hope it doesn’t rain that bad on you all. it’s 78 and sunny here and no rain in sight. It will drop down into the 60’s tonight, which is nice.

Beautiful here, I must say, even if it is October! And hey, that’s MUCH BETTER than December!!! I’ll take Sept. and Oct. and you can keep the rest until around April!

We’re supposed to have a drier and warmer Winter this year. Last Winter we had several nights of freezing temps. A lot of my outside plants bit the dust.

Now I’m drinking some ruby red grapefruit juice mixed with a bit of Merlot, eating my salad, and listiening to my Journey CD. Also reading my comics email which I didn’t finish this morning.

Nice to see you appear johnnyd. You all have done well with names for your Halloween personas. My onscreen name has left me with just going with playing off my penchant to avoid clothing. I was talking to a neighbor today that has just sold his house, because of a divorce. After listening to him go on and on about how bitter his divorce was he talked about how he was going to miss the privacy of his place where he could hang out naked.

Howdy Shika. Yes, you are right, I am awaiting the start of a movie. If you want to see surplus turnips go to Prince Edward Island. They have so many that they serve them in restaurants as a starch.

Your salad with a Merlot spritzer sounds lovely. I cooked an early Thanksgiving turkey (part of a turkey) for myself, in case I don’t get any elsewhere this weekend. It was very tasty.

Shika, I forgot that your Thanksgiving was on Monday. Have a good one sweetie.

Now I wish I had thought to buy turnip for Thanksgiving. :-(

Yes, Prince Edward Island is very proud of their turnips.

Fortunately the also are very proud of their Malpeque oysters.
