Grandma Green gave me a cardboard Teddy Bear playing an accordion.
I hung it on the wall beside my bed so I looked at it every morning and said, “A cardboard Teddy Bear?” and shake my head..
After a few months, I printed “DAVID 2” on it. The next year, I wrote in cursive “David Huie Green 3” under the first and then every year after through second year of college — with the appropriate grade, of course.

My handwriting never changed.I also kept saying to myself every day, “A cardboard Teddy Bear?”
