Mr. Veeblefester: I read Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" last night.
Brutus: Oh, I love that story! Don't you find it incredibly inspiring?
Mr. Veeblefester: Yes...except for the last part, where Scrooge wakes up on Christmas and changes his behavior!
A friend and I discussed one time about how if “A Christmas Carol” was rewritten for today, Scrooge, after his sudden change in personality and talking about being visited by spirits and seeing visions, would be committed by his family and associates so they could take over his assets.

Well that’s how the story is suppose to be. Scrooge was taught a lesson about human kindness.

I think that Veeblefester could learn something from that story.
