Lucky he mentioned the beard, otherwise the ongoing conversation could’ve been very confusing?

When did the King’s nose get sooo big? If you look at “Wizard of Id Classics” from the ’60’s, his nose is quite small. Even the Wizard’s nose is bigger.

I think the wizard saw The Little Prince.

Aye well sure and that whole idea of powered ski-mobiles has just been shown to be for the birds.

Someone must not have been writing copy for B.C. and Wizard of Id today.

That’s not the way Wiz. You use a horse, not birds, for Skijoring. ;)

I flat out don’t get it.

Just a guess: Sir Rodney thought it was weird to see the Wiz on skis carried away by a flock of birds, and asked the Fink if he saw it (i.e. Rod isn’t going nuts). Finkie saw it but the only thing he thought was weird was the Wiz’s beard looked a bit neater than usual. Funny? I dunno. Different expectations from different points of view, I guess. Political reference? I can’t think of any…

The only uncommon thing about the wizard is the trimmed bird.

Everything else i same old same old wizard activty.

I wouldn’t want to be that close to those birds…
