You know, going back almost 20 years, I’ve long thought that I liked the number 2017 and always had high hopes for that formerly distant year. As it turns out, not only am I not where I wanted to be in my personal life, now it looks like 2017 will turn out to be the herald of a very dark time.
Incidentally, I’m a little surprised Stantis used that old title art here. The Carmen and Winslow of his own hand look drastically different from those by the current artist.
What makes you think Stantis is not doing Prickly City himself?I suggest you go back and look at what Garfield looked like in 1978 and compare it over time. Jim Davis has drawn every strip for 38+ years. Even Heathcliff changed while Gately was still doing it himself.Even Picasso’s style and brush strokes changed over time.
