Aaaaand things keep getting worse. Looks like John’s little sports car may have to go after all, just to get a replacement for the wagon.

Wait – wasn’t her car in a ditch? Did I miss how she got it home?

Nobody’s mentioned insurance. This could mean a new car for the Pattersons!

Being the person I was raised to be, I would probably have offered to shovel out his car anyways, since he is a senior citizen, and I have trust in my fellow man. Plus, I would have a shovel in my hand IF he tried anything, which half of the people here, suspect he might do ; )

It isn’t a blue station wagon. It’s a brown or gold Jeep. Since a policeman was there, and told her to walk home, she probably considered it reported. He should have marked or tagged the car.
