We had a 5-month-old pup when my aunt moved in for a while with her adult dog. Each dog went to their bowl, ate all but the last few kibbles, and then went to the other bowl for the most special treat- another dog’s food. And it happened that Pup switched to “senior” food about the time Chloe graduated to “adult” formulations…

One of our dogs is that way, lick the bowl clean and then look for crumbs :-)

Ever since our last greyhound died, the other dogs just eat whenever they feel like it knowing there will be food available.

My baby sometimes flip her bowl and eat the food on the floor :0) Love you Fred!
