We had a very nice New Year’s day yesterday, with visits from Paul’s parents and dinner with my daughter, son-in-law, and great-granddaughter.

This kitty spent hours depositing fur on his favorite blanket and now it’s being washed away.

Great news this morning: Lee and Michelle are keeping Sis and Peg! They have had then since last Fri with the dogs and 3 cats. And, we are going to have the rest of her legamputated at the end the week for free. We tried just taking a bit off but this has not worked.

Forgot the second bit of good news: Susan has been name Volunteer of the Year for the entire state of UT! We’re sure it was Gina who did all of the paper work. She did it last year and gave it to the witch to mail but “she forgot”. This time Gina mailed it herself.

The awards dinner is Feb 9 in St George and Susan asked the witch if she could take her husband and her sister. The witch told her “probably Larry is ok but not her sister”. Can you believe that? She should be able to take 10 people if she wants to. I know I would go. So would Anita, Jude, Sara, Gina, Rita and a few more foster moms.
