This is actually pretty close to how they are beginning to do it in my country, Norway. In many churches, there will be a sign informing you that you can give to the collection via “VIPPS”, an instant money transfer app.

Our church has a way you can give on-line, which is good for those who watch the live streaming service. I know it’s possible to take attendance for church using an iPad.
