Superstition, AKA religion, the worst and cruelest hoax ever.

There is no god, devil, heaven or hell, they are make believe,

just like Santa Claus and the easter bunny.

Remember when science (In ancient Greece) believed that there were four elements that everything was made up of? Earth, air, fire, water?

Science can also be wrong. But the difference between science and many religions is that science, with great effort, can acknowledge when it is wrong.

Religion cannot do that. For me, the problem is not that religion exists but that there are elements in religions that insist you must believe or else.

Separation of church and state – it’s a good thing.

Religions may not make sense to outsiders, but there are more believers than almost any other human activity. It seems to fill a basic human need. Of course if the various religions are right, heaven will be empty and hell will be crowded. Wouldn’t it be funny if this is all there is, and it was heaven or hell, depending on what you believed. . . .

What do you get when you cross an agnostic, an insomniac, and a dyslexic?

Someone who lies awake at night wondering if there really is a Dog.
