I don’t brake for squirrels. Putting on the brake or swerving to avoid them is more likely to cause an accident. While I sympathize with them as one of God’s creatures; they must be one of God’s more stupid creatures. If you brake for them, they will run back to give you a second chance. Unlike their larger, and arguably stupider big brethren, deer; they don’t do a lot of damage to your car when you run over them.
