Is it just me, or do the character designs look slightly different here? Marigold looks stockier, Phoebeâs head looks rounder, and her mouth looks bigger, etc.
Of course, itâs really common for comic stripsâ art styles to radically change as the years pass. I wonder if thatâs currently happening right now.

Itâs a small thing, but I like that they took out the âsame-genderâ part. Sure, it could just be for the rhyme, but it felt to me like they were saying it was ok for someone to have a romantic valentine of the same gender.
