Igor must have stopped to get ice cream.
In the original story there was no Igor and no brain switching. Much easier if Frankenstein had simply used an intact corpse to reanimate instead of grafting one from many corpses. (He wasn’t a doctor since he quit before he could get his doctorate.
I don’t think any dead bodies were used in the original story except maybe for study. The creature was created through unknown, non-necrotic means.
