have advised all members of my group to boycott the broadcast of the inauguration dog and pony show and treat this as just another regular day by hearing or watching other programs. Me and my family are gong to watch TV channels that do not cover this inane event such as Game Show Network, Buzzr (the other game show channel), HGTV, Food Network,Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, Disney XD, The Discovery Family Network, and Cartoon Network. Far was we’re concern, this past election year (2016) was nothing but one big political cartoon!
Or, they could be American citizens, and watch the elected president be sworn in to office. The Republicans didn’t like Obama, but they weren’t babies about it. Grow up!
This thread needs to stop being so simplistic and naïve. Groups were initially defined against their will due to racism, sexism, and discrimination. It’s not like citizens all over America woke up one day and decided to be separatists. Various groups came together to define their own identities out of sheer necessity, because they were left out of the American dream.
