Also, Dennis, a poster on other forums named NeilWick has written some little programs to help with things like that…. especially if you don’t use your My Comics page.
You can go to his help page at
http://worldofdt.info/gchelp.html
and drag a link called “open strip” into your bookmarks… preferably the bookmarks toolbar, if you have one.
(I discovered that dragging it from his page works better than from a post in this forum)
Put it where it’s handy….
then you can click on a comic, then just click on the bookmark, and a new window opens with the image in it, ready to save.
That reminds me….
Baconboy camper…. in case you stop by….. I hope you saw my thanks the day you posted about that here on Ballard St.
LOL, twice. It’s absurdist humor. Think of an absurd situation, then try to imagine what it looks like. It is absurd both for the man to do this to his dog, and for the dog to enjoy it. Now try to make that look funny in a drawing. This is where BS excels.
Sometime Ballard St leads me to go down Memory Lane. And it does so today. When I was a boy, there was a local oil company (Owned by “Cobby” Willis ..you can’t make this stuff up) that had “Watchdog Service”
On top of each delivery truck was a fiberglass figure of a German Shepard. Whenever a truck was replaced a new statue was installed. So when Cobby finally retired and closed the business down, there were multiple of the the old soldiers laying around behind the building. An aution was held to sell off the property, every one of the figures were sold. For some years you would see them guarding their new master’s yards. Well, until the old town grew up and zoning restrictions restrictive covenants were invented.
Sparky could have had the gig, but he wouldn’t stay still like they were able to do. But I saw one or two of them break protocol, nobody believed me, but I swear I saw it.
I live in Florida and this is real! This just happened. http://abcnews.go.com/US/authorities-investigating-video-showing-dog-chained-trailer-driving/story?id=44741664
Years ago I had a Great Dane, Gretel, who loved to ride in the car. She would sit in the front passenger seat, feet on the floor and head sticking out of the sunroof !
.On occasions, if I’d left her in the car, at the grocery store, she’d swap seats and pretend she was driving.
SUSANSUNSHINE – I was skeptical about NeilWick’s widget to open replies, thinking it was just one more button to push. I tried it and it does really work great! So, I too, thank NeilWick and BaconBoyCamper.

@Dennis,
Go up to the “My Comic Page” level. You should be able to “Copy image” or “Save image as” there.

Liverlips…. are you saying it…. it really…. isn’t news?
But I saw it in the Ballard Bugle….
They interviewed Sparky, and he said he really does enjoy it.
In fact, playing “Sparky the Flying Wonder Dog” is the high point of his day.
Come on down to the Tiki… I’m on shift, but I can show you the article.
Have a banana daiquiri… it’ll help you see what a real place this is.
Isn’t it?
And you could ask the Monkey….
He had to issue Charles a special permit so that Sparky could ride on the car.
