When I was young we had a cat that constantly complained like Chesney. We always tuned her out too just like Annie.

My boys have been moaning about the cold whenever they’ve been on the back deck the past couple weeks. They don’t like it at all especially if it’s windy

Hi Graham Crackers. My cats never leave the house (urban coyotes abound) but my big dogs are loving the cold on their walks.

I’m not letting my cats out until we get warmer weather. They complain, but I know they don’t like the cold anyway. But it’s supposed to get warmer at the end of the week. I have Friday off and the weather app on my computer predicts a high of 52 degrees that day (that’s higher than what I heard on the weather report on the news. They were going with upper 40’s But if it gets into the 40’s, I’ll let some of the cats out for a while. Happily, I don’t have coyotes and the cats have a fenced yard (6 foot high fence) to keep them off the streets and away from stray cats and any loose dogs (a rare thing round here since some certain neighbors moved away).

I want to thank all who post thanks for the pictures that I have been posting on Facebook. It makes it all worthwhile. Also, I’ve been noticing new names appearing here. Welcome!

I’ve noticed new names too, but I’m not always sure if it is a new person or if it’s one of the regulars who has not yet found out how to change back to their profile name (though directions for that have been given here at several comics). I know they changed me, once to my real name and once to my email name, but I found how to change back to my profile name. If these are new people I join you in welcoming them. I miss some of the others who used to post here and hope to see them back soon. Some of them just didn’t give the new site enough time. I don’t hate it as much as I did before and I can deal with it okay now. It is better in some ways and worse in others.

@Bbear.You are right about that video of the ultralight flyer you posted. OMG…never expected to see ‘that’. Gave me some uneasy moments too.

I remember today’s strip. MY kitties would be feeling mighty uncomfortable dragging their tummies, etc. through that high snow. Wonder if sardines were purchased for all TEN CATS with an extra shrimp or two for Chesney’s ‘trouble’. Love this strip! BTW, it is becoming much easier now to navigate GC….practice makes perfect as Mom used to say.

With all the “talk” bubbles I thought Annie had more than one cat out in the snow with her! That Chesney sure complains a lot when he could have stayed at the warehouse.

The thing I really don’t like is you can’t see your replies unless you remember who you replied to. Then you have to click on "1 (or however many there were) reply. And there you are. Otherwise you are hidden.

A few years ago Big Man had his belly shaved for a scan. He’s never used the litter box, even though we’ve shown him, he always goes outside, and it had snowed quite a bit. He looked miserable trudging through the snow with a naked belly to do his business. Needless to say, he only went out when he really had to.

bbear: must comment about the flying cat. Wonder if he was watching his nine lives before his eyes. also, one thing that is still missing is refresh comments (unless I am missing something). I’ve been going back and restarting the whole comment icon.
