SAM’S SCHOOL FOR SUPERVILLAINS – Bayonne, Marsailles, WhitechapelLesson #7: Timing. So, today we learn there’s a deadline for “Mr. Big.” (We will decide later if the quotation marks will be taken off from around the title.) What is anticipated remains to be seen, just like a full view of our aspiring antagonist. But we can already tell that deadline pressures are causing this person to abandon subtlety for heavy-handedness. Obviously, the goal is to drive the cowboys out of the area and obtain their land, and we suspect this is what’s behind their radio show’s hemorrhage of sponsors. A better approach might be to help facilitate a move of Broadcast Ranch to another, nearby location and helping to return their show to its glory days; it might be a little more expensive, but money doesn’t seem to be much of a problem for our budding bad guy – and it would remove the need for hiring goons whose actions leave a bad taste in everyone’s mouths… especially the kid, whose “Daddy” is on his way.
