Gocomics changed jessegooddog to my real name. The first good news last night for my boyfriend’s lung cancer tests – the brain and bone scans came back negative. The type of cancer that non smokers get often goes to these 2 places along with the liver. He is having a scoping procedure early this morning to determine why he was coughing up blood over the weekend, and the cancer has yet to be staged. His spirit is amazingly good, I am trying to hold it together but we have lots of support from friends and family.

Greenie, I am still here. Just don’t read comments much anymore and don’t post anywhere. “Things” have been “hectic”, “upside down”, “messy”, etc. for quite awhile. I am in my third (and last) place in five years. Kids (Buster and Precious) have sunshine and seem to be happy, I have room for a bed now and can unpack things I have missed for over five years. Hips are great, but do not have a vehicle anymore. After 19 years and 220,000 miles it just couldn’t do it anymore. It got me moved just before Thanksgiving and that took all it had. I am spending time trying to get settled, unpacking, repairing and organizing. I post on facebook every now and then. I have posted pictures of Buster seeing the sun for the first time in five years. Will change my avatar here to that picture so you can see it. I stay in contact with Happyx3 and a couple of others, but mostly on facebook. Thank you for thinking about me. GoComics just isn’t the same since they changed.

No cat videos today but I shared a drone video of the middle school that I taught from 1979 to 2009 at. Today’s science lesson (apologies, retired science teacher here) cats are liquid. This cat is going from a place of higher concentration (note the second cat curled up) to a place where he will have more room. Also note that since it is a dog bed, there is a doggie with hurt feelings curled up nearby on the floor.

Unless you sleep with your bedroom door closed (like I do, although I sometimes hear the big fur ball butting his head on my door wanting in), you risk this happening to you early in the morning with your hungry kitty.

We tend to think of our cats as more than our pets but this crazy cat lady takes it to an extreme. Boy, I thought my cat had long hair but this cat, WOW!

@DaleandKristen – Breaking Cat News has too many good days to mention them all (imho). I find myself flagging many as “favorites” because they are just so 1) true, 2) adorable, 3) funny, or 4) all of the above. Right now it’s in an arc that is a little confusing to follow (it’s a repeated arc at the moment), but it’s still cute. Although, for anyone who reads their comics on a phone, I’m not sure how well they’d show up – they are always a rather large (vertically) strip, as the artist actually watercolors each one.

Yeah, I hate the new site as well, from someone who made multiple comments on here daily, I may make 10 TOPS and am so far behind in my queue with all the comics I read, I am beginning to lose interest, to tell you the truth!
