Goat: This may be the greatest first date ever. We have the same interests. Hopes, goals, fears, desires, hobbies. We couldn't be more compatible. Woman: Yep. And it sounds like we both voted for this person for President. Goat: And we never spoke again.

Eventually, and not as far away as one may think, humanity will finally break free of the political era and also of the religious era, into a new way of structuring society. It won’t have labels such as liberal, conservative, libertarian, fascist, communist, Christian, Muslim, or any other of those rather limiting categorizations. It will be a new dawn.

they both voted for Hillary. They have nothing to protest about so no interest.

I find this to be a good social commentary. My wife and I voted for different people. We debate, but listen and respect each other’s opinions. When my children come home from school frightened because of what they hear on the news or their parents’ friends tell them, we give them well-reasonsed answers, help them see both sides of an issue, and ask them to think for themselves and come to their own conclusions. The last couple decades, critical thinking, healthy civil debate and intellectual honesty are the real victims of whatever politics has become.
