Two violent deaths with the cereal this morning. This story arc seems to be coming to a quick end.

Is that it? By killing two men would end this storyline?

They sure don’t make tents like THAT anymore!

I was thinking the same thing about the story arc. It started out promising many adventures and it seems to be winding up pretty quickly.

Compare the pace to that of Alley Oop!

If I had a choice between being shattered against a canvas tent by and ape and being strangled by an ape-man’s thews, it’d be a no-brainer.

“… and shattered him against the tent.” I’ve heard of someone having a glass jaw, but a glass body? Maybe ERB meant to say “splattered”, though that would also be hard to swallow. I bet this guy’s going to survive, and will tell an interesting story that leads us into a longer arc. Tarzan will have to translate for Bay-At.

Doesn’t seem to me that throwing a guy against a tent would do that much damage to the guy. Maybe to the tent.

Bay-At’s already crushed the guy, shattering him against a cloth structure seems a bit much…

Maybe a longer story arc will follow this s one.

I didn’t actually see any “thews” wrapped around Pike’s throat – looked more like Tarzan’s hands to me. Thews would have been messy…
