I am really liking this arc. :o) I have so much sympathy with Verne. I would love for RJ to get his comeuppance from Verne just once. I hope it pans out.

I remember the abnormal growth from the Hanover Fiste scene from the Heavy Metal Movie. “He’s nothing but a low-down, double-dealing, backstabbing, larcenous perverted worm! Hanging’s too good for him. Burning’s too good for him! he should be torn into little bitsy pieces and buried alive!”Of course Verne could also say: “Don’t make me angry. You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry.”

Anyone remember the episode of MASH when BJ bet Hawkeye he could get him with a practical joke within 24 hours? The joke was that Hawkeye became so paranoid about when BJ was going to get him that he was a total wreck by the end of the day.

If enjoying the sight of Verne playing with RJ’s head is wrong, I don’t want to be right.

I see. Verne is using psychological warfare. He’s going to have RJ worry for days waiting for something that’s not going to happen. Clever turtle.
