Man: Looks like Trendex has brought in a white knight, boss! Just got word that spanco's going for our stock! Phil: Damn! I was afraid Fred might try that! We better look for someone to block them! Mark: I don't get it, dad. Why are you doing this? Phil: To prove that capitalism still works, Mark, to show that free market forces still favor the cash-rich! It's time that captains of industry stopped acting like total wimps! If we're to keep American business strong, companies like Trendex and people like Fred Bates have to sacrificed! Mark: But what did uncle Fred ever do to you? Man: Uncle Fred? Phil: This is no time for sentimentality! The economy's at stake here!
