    In the summer I have a pair of white pants that I wear and they are tight.

    I certainly can feel for him… the uniform I wore to my (Air Force) retirement ceremony no longer fits. The damn thing shrank while hanging in the closet for the last 20 years or so. I can still get into the leather motorcycle jacket I wore back then, I just can’t wear any layers underneath it like I used to.

    ok… none of that really surprises me, but the (non-adjustable) hats from that period also no longer fit. It never occurred to me that I’d get a fat head along with the waistline. Hell, that’s the only part I really have exercised in all these years, I am a bit disappointed that those hats don’t fit anymore.
