I worked in a retail store whose policy said I had to give two weeks notice and that they would have the schedule up two weeks in advance.
When I quit, the new schedule was supposed to start the next day and it was not up so I told them that I would âfinish the required posted two week scheduleâ and then told my new employer I would start on Monday.

You do have the right to walk out without two weeks notice. But that wonât look good in your next interview.
