Gladys: It's been two months since Christmas! When are you going to take the artificial tree down?
Gladys: Procrastinate much longer and you might as well leave it up for next Christmas!
Brutus: That's an option?
We actually do leave ours up. We even occasionally add decorations to it throughout the year. We just keep it in an upstairs room except around Christmastime.
Well they missed pink ornaments for Valentines Day, but they can do pastels for Easter, Green for St. Patrick’s Day, red white and blue for the 4th of July, orange and black for Halloween, etc.
We have a ceramic Xmas tree with built in lights, that stands about 8" tall, and sits on a coffee table, and we take it down and store it by Jan1 each year, point being who wants to drag Xmas out any longer than that? ( I’ll bet the 3 wise men were back to camel hearing by January1! )

I have neighbors who have kept their tree up for the last 4 or 5 years, as well as the outside lights. Those are on all day and all night.
