The way those mailboxes are made, she would not be able to stick her head or an arm inside. As others have suggested, the only solution is to call the PO.
When multi-tasking in the morning – walking my dog and taking something to the mailbox – I was always a bit paranoid that my groggy morning state would cause me to drop the dog’s “package” in the mailbox by mistake. I’m pretty sure that it never happened. Pretty sure. (I’m not a morning person, by the way.)
