Cul de Sac by Richard Thompson for April 02, 2017

Correction: Richard Thompson WAS pretty darn good (died 2016). In the mean time, at least Stephan Pastis gave it his best while Richard battled (and lost) Parkinson’s disease.

Love Cul De Sac, and I mourn Richard. Don’t know when this was drawn, but it’s a wonderful tribute.

A nice reminder though many still do not know him. I did not until I came here in 2009- 2010.

I think perhaps he drew it with his left foot.

I like that his cul-de-sac is almost drawn childlike. It took awhile to get used to but now I love it. Rest in Peace dear Mr Thompson

Pastis should have stuck with something more his style. Like ditch digging or stable cleaning.

This made me wistful—and glad Mr Thompson got to see this. Thank you for drawing it.
