The latest messages from Bob (Bbear)…Today started in pain despite the pain pills until the nurse turned on the light and discovered the source of the pain: my bed had been raised in the dark so much that my knee was wedged into the bedside table. When she lowered the bed, as the pain went away, I discovered that my legs had gotten more maneuverable overnight. I now have to get out of bed and walk to the bathroom. Right now that takes the help of another person pulling me up as I struggle to push up with weak legs.I used that “ability” to get up and shave for the first time since last Thursday (2/23/17).My legs are more maneuverable.
And this message from Bob…Just to add to the “fun” of being trapped here, my 85 year old aunt Margaret fell after getting back from Ash Wednesday services and broke her pelvis in two places. She is now being operated on at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown West Virginia and I can’t be there.
@ DennisinSeattle: Have answered you yesterday – here it is:
I’m here, Dennis – mostly I read the comics in my e-mail I got with all my favorites. Today it happened that I read your comment. Thank you for your concern, Dennis! I’m fine and I hope it is the same with you, too!
*@ Laughingkitty: You got an answer too yesterday, here it is:
Reply to Laughingkitty: Hi, laughingkitty, that is true I’m more at facebook – smile – for there are so many messages and other topics and often I do not have the time to read them all – smile.
50 + MPH winds here today on Long Island….downed branches all over…had to keep putting my porch furniture covers back on throughout the day. Light snow tomorrow…BUT…the Salvation Army DID come and gladly took @40% or more of the furniture, etc that my daughter had left when she moved out in December. Maybe I will have that apartment ready for rental (or not) in a few months. I DO NOT like being a landlady but…… My cats will soon be able to go upstairs to visit again, although, since ‘cousin’ Emma moved, there is no longer a litter box, water or feeding station.

Chesney, you are such a brat! Annie isn’t anything like that! You owe her a HUGE apology.

It’s true that we never see Annie’s teeth, but as for green scales, I think not.

This is Annie, according to Chesney:

Good morning, Graham Crackers. Did March come in like a lion in your neck of the woods?

You are very adaptable, Chesney. I would hardly describe Annie as a ‘terror’ and a ‘force to be reckoned with’.

We are back from cold windy Las Vegas. No we didn’t go to any Casinos,. they now charge $14.99 for four hours parking!
Instead we painted the bathroom at the rental and put in a new kitchen faucet, blinds over the sink and had the carpets cleaned for the new tenants.
