I loved it that “Zen Pencils” is in that stack of books. I can’t decide if Than is poking fun at himself or if he’s encouraging us readers to get moving, or both, but it did make me laugh. Thanks, GAT!

It’s not exclusionary! First you dream, then you take the first step. Very simple—most people know this.

I think all those posters about dreaming were created by people with insomnia. They were up all night figuring out a way to succeed by selling posters.

They were successful selling platitudes to others, of course its hard work, persistance and grit that gets it done.

“All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.”

    T. E. Lawrence, a.k.a. Lawrence of Arabia.

The dream can help you keep going while you are working so hard and long to achieve it.
