They use math all the time, without realizing it. They have to calculate how fast or slow to shoot the puck or pass to another player, at what angle it will bounce off a side wall, when to use a 4 letter word, when taking inventory of their teeth, how much time to spend in the penalty box. They may not know it as “Math”, but they sure use it often.
Also the game is divided into periods, not quarters.
